Welcome to the Strom Refinery. Here you will find the combined artistic efforts of Tom and Jackee Strom. We are both self taught artists who just have strong wills to create. We try not to keep any boundaries on what mediums we use. we just try to apply ourselves to as much as possible. During the day, we both work creative jobs. Jackee owns and maintains her own boutique called "Pursecution". At her shop, she designs and makes purses and other accessories from scratch. Each purse is more unique than the last and rivals any purse in craftsmanship. You can see them at www.pursecution.com. I work at Uptown tattoo as a custom tattoo artist. Tattooing for thirteen years, I strive to make each piece better than the last. You can see my tattoos at www.uptowntattoo.com. This site is dedicated to the art that we do outside of our daily work. We don't have a lot of free time for these pieces so each one is done with a lot of effort put in to it. Our work is derived from the things in our live that move us. My work is focused around music, mostly death metal, detail, and the general horrors in life. Sounds nice huh? Makes me happy. Jackee's work is a more direct reflection of the things in her life. She paints beautiful renditions of our cats, flowers around our house, and back yard fences. Painting very meticulously, she likes to get down to the last detail. The devil is in our details! Yes.
